Privacy
RealMedNavigator is a Medicare orientation tool. This page describes what data the app collects and how it is handled.
What we collect
Nothing about you personally. RealMedNavigator does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, address, date of birth, Medicare number, Social Security number, or any other identifier. There is no account, no login, and no profile.
What stays on your device
Your answers to the guided questions and the sections you bookmark are stored only in your browser’s local storage on the device you are using. They are not sent to a server, are not linked to you, and are not shared with anyone. Clearing your browser data, choosing “Erase and start over” in the app, or uninstalling the app removes them immediately.
Optional feedback form
If you choose to fill out the “Tell us what you think” form at the end of the guide, your three short answers are emailed to the RealMedNavigator team so we can improve the tool. The submission is not linked to your name, your session answers, or any other identifier — only the responses you chose to share. A copy is also kept on your device.
Anonymous usage events
The app records a small number of fully anonymous events (guide opened, guide completed, share clicked) so we can see roughly how many people use the tool. These events contain no user identifiers, no answers, no IP address, and no device fingerprint. They cannot be tied back to you.
Cookies and trackers
RealMedNavigator does not set advertising cookies, does not use third-party trackers, and does not participate in any data broker or remarketing network.
Sharing
When you choose to share the app with someone, you do so through your own messaging app, email client, or clipboard. The share content is a link to this tool plus a short message you can edit. Nothing about your session travels with the share.
Children
RealMedNavigator is intended for adults navigating Medicare. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal information, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf, no record to export, and no account to close. Removing the app, clearing your browser data, or selecting “Erase and start over” in the app removes everything RealMedNavigator stored on your device.
Changes
If our data practices change, this page will be updated and the change will be reflected in the next release of the app.
